Rayat Bahra University, in proximity to tricity, established under Punjab act no. 16 of 2014 vide notification no. 17-leg/2014 dated 13th August 2014 and notified by UGC under section 22 of the UGC act 1956, is empowered to award degree vide letter no. 8-83/2014 (CPP-J/PU Dated 26TH Sept, 2014 by University Grant Commission (UGC).
