Laqshya Academy

A decade has passed since Lakshya Academy was established with a mission that students from Maharashtra should lead the list of successful candidate in the UPSC examination and join the administrative services. In 2002, when Lakshya Academy was found, only about 18 to 20 students used to opt for Administrative services.

But today, the number has increased substantially due to the stellar role played by Lakshya Academy. Lakshya Academy has successfully organized several workshops and seminar for students and presents in various districts of Maharashtra to enlighten them about the UPSC examination with the help of publicity from media and popular Marathi Dailies.

The students who showed interest were offered rigorous training and coaching by Lakshya Academy combined with guidance from excellent professors and tutors, test series and a well equipped library. Having reviewed the outstanding study material found in the states of UP, Bihar, Delhi, and other states, it was made available to students.

The outcome was amazing Around 60 to 70 students from Maharashtra stood in the merit list and for three years successively. Maharashtra has acquired the third or fourth ranking with regard to the number of students in the UPSC merit list.

The mission is to set a benchmark by taking Maharashtra to the first position as far as UPSC examinations are concerned. Lakshya Academy dares to look beyond and proudly understands - what we teach today, others adopt tomorrow…
